On 27 June 2026, Museum IJsselstein will open the exhibition Druktemakers, a unique exhibition in which IJsselstein children's ambassadors, the Druktemakers, together with artists, have transformed the museum into a playful, interactive art experience.
This exhibition focuses on play and discovery. The artworks were created by programming, endlessly fiddling in the studio, littering and putting everyday objects in motion. Druktemakers is all about contemporary art that allows you to do something yourself. As a visitor, you actively participate in the exhibition, with the objects and installations reacting to you.
The artworks in the exhibition were created by Danny Foolen and Michiel van der Werf, Het Harde Potlood (Heleen Wiemer, Richtje Reinsma and Roosmarijn Schoonewelle), Johannes Langkamp, Marlot Meyer and Roos van Haaften.
The child ambassadors who assisted are Anna, Anouar, Foss, Isabel, Julia, Kee, Luna, Olivia, Philou, Pleun, Sascha and Thomas.
