Enjoy your time of total relaxation in the Zouweboezem. The Zouweboezem nature reserve is still a relatively undiscovered gem. An oasis of calm awaits you, complete with splendid flora and fauna.

This area was excavated during the 14th century to collect the excess water between the polders (reclaimed land). Keep your camera at the ready: the wetlands serve as a home and breeding ground for many species of birds. From purple herons to Savi's warblers and from marsh harriers to spotted crakes, this is where you can admire them.
