On the entertainment square of Amersfoort is De Lieve Vrouw. With three cinemas, a theatre and a cosy café, De Lieve Vrouw is one of the few places in the Netherlands where performing arts, film and catering are united under one roof.

Come in for a cup of coffee and a piece of home-baked apple pie and look around. A lot of beauty is united in De Lieve Vrouw! In the medium-sized, intimate theatre hall, contemporary theatre makers, dancers, cabaret artists and world musicians perform their latest shows.

The three cinema halls show the latest films every day. On Monday afternoon, the (premiere) films that will be shown from Thursday to Wednesday are announced. De Lieve Vrouw puts enjoyment first, which is why there are no breaks, popcorn or commercial advertisements in its cinemas!
